More than 15 years ago, I proposed the principle of managing disease programs, but doctors, like in the Middle Ages, continue to struggle with symptoms. See Revo V.V. Systemic semiotic diseases of man and society. Moscow: Logos, 2004. P. 197. (Table of contents and Digest in English). LC Control Number 2005427067. (Rev. V. Systemic semiotics of disease of man and society, M.: Logos, 2004. 312 p.). Since each disease has up to 200 or more symptoms, it is clear that this fight is hopeless. This is a profitable business, but it is expensive for the population and for the economy. Universities should prepare a doctor of the new format. I propose to name his programmer. This is specialist for control of the programs of diseases. He alone will be more effective than today hundreds of doctors of different specializations. It ensures the management of diseases, and not the suppression of symptoms. The number of practicing doctors will decrease hundreds of times, including surgeons, who will be replaced by robotic surgeons. Theoretical medicine should also pass to an intensive development. We already have the necessary resources for the transition of medicine to a new technological level. MD, PhD, Professor Valeriy Revo
